What We’ll Be Doing

If you have a traditional contract, we’ll send you an advance
- Set up your Slack channel and Dropbox folders
- Invite you to our White Deer Publishing Author KB (hey, you’re here! ☺)
- Set up your author page on our website (with newsletter sign up)
- Schedule your new author announcements
- Follow you on social platforms
- Draw your author graphic
- Send a newsletter update
What We’ll Need from You
- Complete the Author Questionnaire
- Send headshots and photos for the author graphic (see our Author Photo Guidance)
- Follow us on social platforms
- Explore our Slack workspace
- Make sure you can access your Dropbox folders
What’s Next
- We’ll complete Editorial Round 1 on your initial manuscript and begin marketing and book design planning
- You’ll complete any edits or additional content recommended in Editorial Round 1
